An exact copy of the inside of a church in England has been built in Japan - and it is proving a popular place for couples in the country to get married, it has been reported.

According to the BBC, a replica of the All Saints Church Brockhampton, which is in Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire, has been built in a tower block in Osaka.

Reverend at the church Will Pridie said that those behind the creation visited the building and took measurements with lasers to ensure the replica was accurate.

Above the church replica - which is situated on the 21st and 22nd floors of the tower block - is a hotel and honeymoon suite, with photography studios and restaurants on the same floor.

Brockhampton.com noted that the church replica has a thatched roof and said: "This remarkable and sympathetic replica, flooded with natural light from a glass atrium above, allows couples to be married at home."
