IJT hosts Everett Kennedy Brown
Earlier this week, we welcomed world-renowned photographer Everett Kennedy Brown to the Bristol office.
For the past 25 years, Everett has worked as a photojournalist in Japan and his work has been published in most major global media, including National Geographic, Time, Newsweek, Le Monde, The Times and The New York Times.
He also runs an idyllic rural eco-retreat - Brown's Field Farm - with his wife, the popular cookbook writer Deco Nakajima. Brown's Field Farm is located just one hour east of Tokyo near the Pacific coast and offers guests a unique opportunity to experience a slower pace of life and learn about sustainability and traditional forms of farming in Japan. A stay at Brown's Field Farm can be incorporated into any of our tailored itineraries. Everett is also able to lead private cultural and photographic tours of Japan, which can be arranged exclusively through InsideJapan Tours.
During his time in Bristol, Everett was more than willing to share his stories and extensive knowledge of Japanese culture and experiences and even took some of our InsideAsia staff on a photography tour around Bristol harbour side, offering some enlightening tips on how one should 'expand one's peripheral vision'.
