Amy Tadehara - Superb Service, Extremely Satisfied

Amy skillfully, as always, took my various ideas (some realistic, others too ambitious) about traveling on my own along the Sea of Japan and the Seto Inland Sea and created an active, manageable, well-paced, and thoroughly satisfying itinerary that took me everywhere I wanted to go. The trip combined the familiar (Matsue) with the new (such as Yanai, Bitchu Takahashi, Onomichi) and offered travel on trains, buses, ropeway, and ferries, as well as opportunities for wonderful walking. Amy listens so well, is very responsive, carefully considers ideas and provides her honest opinions, makes thoughtful suggestions, loves what she does, and is an absolute delight to work with.

4. How would you rate the accommodation against your expectations?

Met my expectations

Met and exceeded expectations. The Hotel Cycle U2 in Onomichi (a slick, multipurpose, converted warehouse space) was fun and a real treat! Staff were so pleasant, breakfasts were lovely, location is perfect for easy access to public transportation and bicycle rental and ferry schedules, and the overall vibe is youthful and cool.
5. Please give us your comments on the transport included in your package.

The airport pickup and drop off worked well.
6. Please comment on any professional guiding included in your package?

I had the pleasure of spending a terrific evening in Osaka, the Shinsekai area, with Akiko of Arigato Food Tours! She chose several different places and foods (traditional sweets to sushi dinner to takoyaki made before our eyes and more) while describing the history of the area and providing information on the delicious food we enjoyed. I heartily recommend this experience.
