Let us send you to a well-known Osaka cookery school for a crash course in all things ramen.
Designed for English speakers, the course offers a great insight into the different techniques, ingredients and styles that make hearty ramen one of the most popular dishes in Japan right now.
During the day you'll learn how to make two kinds of soup broth: a simple clear broth and a thicker, creamy version. Then you'll focus on preparing the chashu pork and perfect hanjuku eggs, not to forget the noodles, whilst learning about the history of ramen too. Naturally you'll have the chance to eat your own ramen, but you'll also serve your dish to locals in the ramen shop front - the real test!
