Travel Weekly - Kate Hodal
Last year, Kate Hodal travelled with us to Japan on a trip that took her from the mad, futuristic world of Tokyo to the time-honoured pathways of the Kumano Kodo; one of only two pilgrimage routes in the world with UNSECO World Heritage status.
In an article that appeared in numerous regional news outlets, Kate writes about her experience wandering these ancient paths, which have been trodden by Japanese pilgrims for over one thousand years, as well as the people she meets along the way and the hospitality she encounters in the area's tiny traditional inns.
