Yamanaka Onsen 
Relax in the thearputic hot spring waters of this traditional spa town.
Natural hot springs were discovered in the Kaga region of Ishikawa Prefecture more than 1,300 years ago and for centuries people have made the pilgrimage here to bathe in the therapeutic waters said to cure all manner of ills including constipation, obesity, diabetes and gout! Hopefully none of our guests will suffer these ailments after a stay in a beautiful, traditional ryokan complete with a kaiseki banquet featuring seafood for which the region is famous. The town has a lovely little theatre; although built in 2002 the traditional-style theatre holds concerts of yamabushi folk singing each weekend.
