No trip to Japan would be complete without escaping the big cities and seeing some of the countryside. This private day trip from Tokyo to Mount Fuji is in a wheelchair accessible vehicle with a driver who is experienced in accessible tourism. Please note the driver may not speak much English but will have a detailed itinerary for your day trip and will ensure that everything runs smoothly.
We suggest making an early start around 7am for this day trip to beat traffic out of Tokyo. It takes roughly two hours to drive to Mount Fuji's 5th station 2,300m above sea level. After standing on the mountain itself, you'll also Lake Kawaguchi, the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes. The views of Fuji are spectacular here - weather permitting!
