InsideJapan Tours at London's Japan Matsuri
This is the second year for the London Matsuri (or festival) which is held at Spitalfields Market. The event is an excellent showcase for Japanese culture and is a chance for the Japanese community in the UK to show the capital how they do festivals. The event has taiko drumming groups and a traditional Okinawan group as well as kendo and various martial arts displays. The Matsuri also has plenty of Japanese food stands available which will be sure to tantalise your taste buds what ever your tastes. Japan Matsuri will prove that there is much miuch more to Jpaan than just sushi and sumo. The event was extremely successful last year with more than 40,000 people attending during the day. As a reaction to last year, the organisers this year have expanded the festival site to cope with the large numbers of people expected.
