1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
The trip was thoughtfully designed to meet our needs, excellent information was provided and everything went very smoothly. We were able to travel independently at a pace that was right for us and have a great variety of experiences in a fascinating country.

Tristan listened and responded to what we wanted for our trip and came back to us throughout the planning stages to check we were happy. He kept us informed of any changes and we felt confident before we travelled that everything was in place.

3. How would you rate your package in terms of value for money?

4. How would you rate the accommodation against your expectations?
We enjoyed the variety and locations of pretty much all of them! If we were to be picky....we'd have preferred to be on the other side of the station in Kanazawa so as to be closer to areas of interest and 3 nights in the Ryokan in Takayama was a bit much...it's a lovely traditional place with charming hosts...but the evening meals were a bit overwhelming for 3 nights running...and there were lots of eateries in town we could have used. But we couldn't fault any of the other places you booked for us.....we felt they were all thoughtfully chosen. We really appreciated the Asakusa location for our first days in Tokyo and the final night in Shinjuku and loved the Kyoto house....great to have a whole house with a washing machine at that point in our trip and in a perfect location...we won't mention them all...they were all great!

5. Please give us your comments on the transport included in your package.
It was all great - trains of course were excellent and on time buses and taxis the same. We appreciated having to be a bit organised in forwarding our luggage and getting to the stations on time/finding our way.....but not having to waste time buying tickets etc!

6. Please comment on any professional guiding included in your package?
Ikumi in Tokyo was outstanding, we had a really great day with her....we were a bit concerned that a whole day with someone would be hard going...but she was great fun, we learned a lot and really enjoyed her company and insights. Junko in Kyoto was also great - a much shorter tour but fascinating and she was fun and very knowledgeable about Geishas. Yann was also very personable. We enjoyed our time with him and the places he took us to. It was probably the timing of this Osaka food tour that made it more difficult for him to really impress us, as we had been in Japan for 3 weeks by then and already tried lots of different food but we had a lovely evening!
